Out of the thirteen captains, Kenpachi is considered the most bloodlusting of them all. He was an arrogant shinigami who wouldn’t deal with weaklings, whether ordered to or not. If Zaraki really had too, well, he would just use that sad person to unrust his jagged soul slayer; use them as a living wipe cloth for the blade. Kenpachi has pride in himself that his power was great, so he would hunt himself a few strong ones. The shinigami’s delight would be a few “friendly” fights between the other captains of the other squads (excluding Squad 4, somewhat, since it’s the medical recovery group).

Arrogant, proud, and a fiery temper sums up the captain of the 11th Squad, but he can be different around the lieutenant, Yachiru. Zaraki and her have a father and daughter-like relationship, since Kenpachi took her in on a bloody night. He doesn’t even mind if Yachiru called him Ken-chan, but he would definitely mind if others called him that. Kenpachi wouldn’t mind skewing them. Yachiru’s probably the only one that that the captain’s close too.
